What to expect
Each conference includes an opening Plenary Panel. The 2023 panel spoke to the theme, The Visible and Invisible. The schedule includes attendee-led works-in-progress and writing prompt sessions, workshops on craft, and evening readings. There is plenty of time for personal writing, reflection and socializing.
In 2022, we adopted a hybrid format, allowing MFAW graduates who live far away or cannot travel to join us virtually. And, since we share the campus with current MFAW students and faculty in residency, some of our programming is available to current students as well.
Sample Schedule|
A full conference schedule will be sent to all registrants about a month before the conference begins. Note: Some events are hybrid, while others are in-person or virtual only.
Day 1
Scholarships
Limited conference scholarships may available both in-person and virtual attendees. Donations to the scholarship funds are appreciated. More information is on the registration form.
