CWC&R Winter 2025

REGISRATION IS CLOSED 

​In 2025, Clockhouse Writers' Conference will offer two CWC&R  opportunities. The first is a three-day, wintertime all-virtual conference and retreat.
​

Who
  • Anyone who has attended at least one semester of Goddard College's MFA in Creative Writing program (either campus)
  • Attendance will be capped at 25

When & where
  • Friday, January 24, through Sunday, January 26, 2025
  • Zoom

Cost
  • $75.00
  • Payable by Zelle or check with no fee
  • Payable by credit card with 6% processing fee

What to expect
The theme for Winter 2025 in Uncharted. Like the summer CWC&Rs, the schedule includes attendee-led works-in-progress and writing prompt sessions, workshops on craft, and evening readings. There is plenty of time for personal writing, reflection and socializing.

Sample schedule|
A full conference schedule will be sent to all registrants about a month before the conference begins. 

Friday, Jan. 24
  • Sessions begin at 1 p.m. ET 
  • Activities include the Opening Community Meeting and workshops
  • CWC Readings end around 8 p.m. ET,  followed by optional open writing together 

Saturday, Jan. 25
  • Sessions begin at 9:30 a.m. ET
  • Workshops include impromptus writing and works-in-progress sessions
  • Personal retreat/writing time
  • CWC Readings end around 7 p.m. ET, followed by optional open writing together

Sunday, Jan. 26
  • Optional open writing together begins at 9:30 a.m. ET
  • Sessions include workshops, CWC Readings and Closing Community Meeting
  • Farewells around 8 p.m. ET.
