Join us for a nurturing and generative weekend to catch up with old friends and new, practice your craft, and come together in community. ​

Who
  • Anyone who has attended at least one semester of Goddard College's MFA in Creative Writing program (either campus)
  • Attendance will be capped at 25

When & where
  • Friday, January 23, through Sunday, January 25, 2025

Cost
  • $75.00
  • Payable by Zelle or check with no fee
  • Payable by credit card with 6% processing fee

What to expect
The theme for the weekend is Art as Witness & Resistance. The schedule includes attendee-led workshops on craft, works-in-progress sessions, and evening readings. There is plenty of time for personal writing, reflection and socializing.

Schedule (tentative)

Friday, Jan. 23
  • Sessions begin at 7 p.m. ET with the Opening Community Meeting
  • CWC Readings at 8 p.m. ET

Saturday, Jan. 24
  • Workshops begin at 11:00 a.m. ET
  • Personal retreat/writing time
  • CWC Readings at 6 p.m. ET,
  • The day begins and end with open writing together sessions

Sunday, Jan. 25
  • Open writing together begins at 9:00 a.m. ET
  • Sessions include workshops, CWC Readings and Closing Community Meeting
  • Conference ends around 8 p.m. ET.
